From Snacks to the Stratosphere: Launching APAVO XII for CampofrĂo Minis 🚀 In one of the boldest branding missions of the year, we helped bring APAVO XII to life—a high-flying campaign for CampofrĂo Minis that quite literally broke boundaries. Created by McCann and directed by the legendary Benito Zambrano, this wasn’t just another ad—it was an audiovisual odyssey that launched a sausage into the stratosphere and landed on primetime news. Our role? To build and amplify the brand story behind the madness. We crafted a full visual identity and storytelling system around the fictional “APAVO XII" A tongue-in-cheek tribute to Spanish ingenuity and snack-based ambition, powered by equal parts parody and production value. The heart of the campaign was the launch of an actual CampofrĂo Mini into space, captured in a beautiful, cinematic film that combined the emotional pull of Zambrano’s storytelling with the absurdity of our mission. Viewers watched, laughed, and even shed a tear as our tiny sausage orbited into history, heroically waving a Spanish flag above the clouds. The launch was real. The coverage was real. The impact was massive. National news outlets featured the campaign, turning a snack ad into a national conversation about creativity, identity, and delicious nonsense. And it paid off: APAVO XII won a Best! Award, adding industry recognition to its cultural virality. For us, it was the perfect mix of high concept, brand love, and cultural punch. A campaign where creativity went orbital, and snacks became symbols. Because when you believe in your product—and you have a good sense of humor—even a sausage can reach the stars.
